The Saint Martin’s Story

After reading The Restoration of Innocence by Dr. John Senior, current Headmaster Daniel Kerr had a desire to begin a boy’s school, one which would be modeled after Senior’s words: “A high school’s work is not to make boys into special kinds of men, but realize the rich potential of their age, which is to know and love the maker and the things He made, with all their mind, heart, strength and souls as boys.” Saint Martin’s is now a flourishing school, situated in Bourbon County, Kansas, where young men milk cows, sing folk and sacred music, read and memorize the beautiful works of literature and poetry, serve Mass, and… play rugby.
